World Cup fever is definitely in the air! As you drive through town you will see cars proudly displaying the flags of their favourite teams, and on patios and decks you’ll hear cheers as goals are scored and victories proclaimed! In fact the province of Ontario has introduced a special exemption that allows licensed bars and restaurants to serve alcoholic beverages one hour earlier each day during the 2010 FIFA World Cup!
No need to head out of the house for World Cup games. Just invite some friends over, congregate on your patio or deck, and turn on the game. Enjoy a pint of your favourite beer, or hoist a pint from the country of your favourite team.
We’re pleased to present some fun Kitchen Toys that will make enjoying beer and burgers on the patio more fun than ever, and the Sierra line of patioware from Trudeau is perfect for casual summertime entertaining. Learn more by reading our guide to beer -- just in time for World Cup celebrations. Enjoy the start of summer and World Cup fever, and let’s hope the best team wins!
Sending you all my warmest
regards for a happy Canada Day,
