From the Kitchen to the Table, The Kitchen Store in Orangeville

Chef’s Choice Waffle Maker & Pizelle Maker

There’s no doubt about it; we went from a winter that wasn’t to a spring that is more like summer. The maple trees have been tapped, and the forsythia is in bloom - never seen by us before. With the new spring season come many new and innovative products in the store.

In March, I was thrilled to attend the highly anticipated Canadian launch of the UK Kenwood Kitchen Machine. It was exciting to see celebrity chefs Jamie Kennedy, Tom Brodi, Marino Tavares and Top Chef Canada Winner Dale MacKay demonstrate the simplicity of the machine. I should also mention that the food they prepared was delicious!

With the warm weather upon us, I love to spend as much time outside as possible. What better way to catch some rays than to have breakfast or brunch on the patio or deck? In this issue, we’ll share some favourite breakfast kitchen toys, including the Chef’s Choice line of waffle makers.

Wishing you and your family a happy Easter and rejuvenating spring season,
Sigrid Wolm
