From the Kitchen to the TableCool Eats - Cool Treats

What have you got planned for the month of August? Here, at "From the Kitchen to the Table", we have been researching and scouring our resources to find exciting products for the upcoming seasons. Perhaps you will be reading this newsletter at the cottage or as you relax by the pool, where thoughts of colder days are far, far away.

On Sunday, August 10th, we are going to close the store in order to attend the Toronto Gift Fair. This is where inspiration meets innovation, the hubbub of retailers and suppliers from all over Canada and abroad come together to showcase and buy the latest and greatest products for your home and lifestyle. It is here that we will, as always, seek out more practical, functional and fabulous items for your kitchen. Look for our new finds in the September newsletter.

Heat the oil in a stock pot over medium heat, add the leeks and cook covered for 6 minutes until softened. Add the broth and bring mixture to a boil.
