Takeya Flash Chill Tea Maker

Make fresh flavourful iced tea in minutes. Simply fill the infuser basket with 10 tbsp loose tea or 10 tea bags. Fill tea maker half full with hot water and allow time to steep. Remove infuser and top with ice. Shake for 30 seconds to flash chill. Serve and enjoy. How cool is that?!

Cold Sugar Snap Pea Soup

• 1 tbsp oil for the pot
• 1 cup leeks cleaned and chopped
• 4 cups chicken broth
• 1 pound sugar snap peas,
  trimmed and strings removed
• Salt and pepper and cayenne to taste
• Mint leaves and crème fraiche for garnish

Heat the oil in a stock pot over medium heat, add the leeks and cook covered for 6 minutes until softened. Add the broth and bring mixture to a boil. Add peas and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes until peas are soft. Using a slotted spoon transfer ingredients and half the liquid to a blender and puree until smooth. Add salt, pepper and cayenne to taste and chill for three hours. Garnish each bowl with a mint leaf and a dollop of crème fraiche or sour cream. (We think this soup would look stunning in the deep red Grenade soup bowls)

• The first electric blender was developed in 1922 by Stephen J Poplawski to make malts and milkshakes at soda diners.

Berry Freeze

• 3 cups frozen berries of your choice
• 500 ml yogurt of your choice
• 2 tbsp honey

Add all ingredients to the blender jar. Purée until smooth. Pour into a freeze safe dish and chill for three hours. Spoon frozen dessert into dessert bowls or the Prodyne Iced Martini Glasses. Berry Freeze has the consistency of gelato. Cool!
