Skillet Party Meatballs

• 1 lb ground pork
• 1 lb ground beef
• 2 eggs beaten
• ½ cup bread crumbs
• 1 onion, grated
• 1 clove garlic, minced
• ½ tsp each salt and pepper to taste
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp ground parsley
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 1 700 ml jar of your choice pasta sauce
• 2 cups mozzarella, grated
• 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Directions:

1. Place pork, beef, eggs, bread crumbs, grated onion, garlic and spices in a large bowl or stand mixer. Blend together.
2. Form into balls of your size choice.
3. Preheat skillet, add oil and sear meatballs, turning a few times for approximately 8 minutes.
4. Pour sauce over meatballs and simmer for 40 minutes to finish internal cooking.
5. Allow cheeses to melt over finished dish. Serve with crusty bread.
