Spring Time Strawberry-Raspberry Heart Cake

Kaiser heart pan
2 Egg whites
2 tbsp. Cold water
2 Egg yolks
80 g Icing sugar
40 g Corn starch
60 g Flour
1 tsp. baking powder
250 g Raspberries
250 g Strawberries
1/8 L Water
½ pkg. Glaze clear
1 tbsp. Raspberry Brandy (Schnapps)
Preheat oven to 200 º C
Beat egg whites and water until stiff, slowly add the icing sugar. Mix in egg yolks.
Mix flour, corn starch and baking powder and carefully fold into dough.
Pour dough into greased pan and bake for approximately 15 minutes in the centre of the preheated oven at 200 º C.
Arrange fruit on the cooled cake.
Stir clear glaze into water with the sugar and bring to a boil. After the boil add the raspberry brandy and coat the fruit with the mixture.
