Essential Holiday Cheese Dip
Yum, Yum!
Prepare all three versions of this festive & colourful holiday dip, and serve in this sculpted, three-bowl set, or Art Glass dishes which we carry in the store.
Dip base:
- 2 x 8 ounce packages, cream cheese
- 1 cup mayonnaise or plain yogurt
Combine until smooth. Divide into three bowls and make these tasty variations:
Blue Cheese & Pecan dip:
- 1/3 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1/4 cup coarsely chopped pecans
- Chopped chives or green onion, to taste
Combine with dip base; serve with vegetable sticks
Greek Feta dip:
- 1 cup feta cheese
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chopped black olives
- 3 chopped green onions
- 2 tbsp chopped sun dried tomatoes
Combine with dip base; serve with pita wedges.
Salsa & Cheese dip:
- 1 tbsp. taco seasoning
- 3 chopped green onions
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
Combine with dip base; serve with tortilla chips.
