- 1 9" unbaked piecrust
- 3 Eggs
- 1 cup Corn syrup
- ½ cup Brown sugar
- ¼ cup Butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 cup Pecan pieces
Arrange pecan pieces on a baking sheet and bake at 325F for 8-10 minutes, until lightly toasted.
Prepare piecrust from your favourite recipe, or use a pre-bought crust.
Preheat oven to 350F.
In a medium bowl, using a wire whisk or beater, beat eggs well.
Beat corn syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla into egg mixture, until well blended.
Arrange toasted pecan halves in a single layer on the bottom of your unbaked pie shell.
Pour filling mixture gently into the piecrust, over the pecans.
Bake for 1 hour or until knife inserted 1" from edge of pie comes out clean.
