7-Layer Mexican Dip

 

1 package (16 oz)

Taco seasoning mix

1 can (16 oz)

Refried beans

1 package

Cream cheese, softened

2 cups

Sour cream

2 cups

Salsa

1

Large tomato, chopped

1

Green bell pepper, chopped

1 bunch

Chopped green onions

1

Head iceberg lettuce, shredded

1 can (6 oz)

Sliced black olives, drained

2 cups

Shredded cheddar cheese

 

 

 

 

  • In a medium bowl blend the taco seasoning mix with the refried beans. 
  • Spread mixture onto a large serving platter.
  • Blend sour cream and cream cheese and spread over refried bean layer.
  • Layer the next items in the following order:
    • Tomato
    • Green bell pepper
    • Green onions
    • Lettuce
    • Cheddar cheese
    • Garnish with black olives.

Keep chilled until ready to serve.  Serve with nacho chips, or pieces of pita.
